Alligator Energies Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2015 as the renewable arm of the Alligator Group, created to take the group's engineering-led approach into the solar energy space. The idea was clear from the start: offer relevant, economically viable, and eco-friendly solar solutions that genuinely help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
This vision has evolved into Alligator Solar - a focused commercial and industrial solar EPC partner that designs and delivers rooftop and ground-mount systems for businesses across India, moving beyond conventional thinking to solve real-world energy challenges.
Early Ventures and Breakthroughs
Alligator Solar started its journey in 2015, created to bring the group's engineering and innovation-driven approach into India's renewable energy space. As the clean energy arm of the Alligator Group, the company carried forward a culture of precision, reliability, and practical problem-solving rather than just reusing infrastructure.
From the beginning, each project was treated as a test of that approach - from detailed feasibility studies and clear project planning to precision engineering and post-installation asset care. Those early installations set the benchmark for how Alligator Solar now delivers EPC projects across its portfolio.

Over the years, Alligator Solar has grown from a rooftop-focused player into a partner for broader clean-energy needs. Today, the portfolio spans onsite solar, open access solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, and long-term asset management for clients in Pune and across India.
